Learning Journeys are designed to help participants of LeapForGood 2018 to discover and get closer to the emerging social needs of seniors and caregivers through the sharing of insights and participation in interactive activities, with organisations active in the space.
Alzheimer's Disease Association : Memories Cafe
The Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) is a voluntary welfare organisation and is made up of caregivers, professionals and all who are interested in dementia. The ADA provides daycare for people with dementia, as well as services such as counselling, support groups, information and referral, public education talks, conducts training and workshops for caregivers.
In this Learning Journey, you will be able to learn how we can provide normalised social environments and events for caregivers and person with dementia and its benefits.
